These projects were written and completed during 1997 and 1998 and are written in either Visual Basic 4.0 and Visual Basic 5.0. Visual Basic is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.
Project: Data Converter Company Type: Imaging Language: Visual Basic 6.0
Generated the program OutEnhance to take the Photo Recall Web Publishing product which generates the html modules for web distribution and to re-write that HTML code to generate a more consistant v isual interface. For more information see: OutEnhance
Project: Data Interface Company Type: Engineering Language: Visual Basic 5.0
A Visual Basic front end was written to interface to Fox Pro files (version 8). The client enters data into a Sema4 database. Job costing project is especially important to the client, which previously entered data both into the primary accounting system (Sema4) and into a separate Job Cost system written by hal Systems Corporation in Databus/PcBus. The VB routines analyze the Fox Pro data and extract selected fields, which are written to Asci files. These files are then feed into the Job Cost System.
Project: Retirement planning Company Type: Insurance Language: Visual Basic 4.0 & 6.0
An existing project with problem code and missing sub routines was brought to Outback Coyote Company in early 98. This system conceptually assist agents in the planning and selling of retirement plans, 401k plans, cafeteria plans and life insurance plans. The code consists of approximately 35 complex forms and includes an actuarial. Complete payroll calculations are made and corresponding deductions for retirement plans are made from either the employees gross numbers or net numbers depending on the type of deduction and appropriate ceilings. An Access 2.0 database is used for the storage of these records.
Project: Texas Species Tracking Company Type: University Language: Visual Basic 4.0
Outback Coyote Company acted as both a design consultant, code consultant and in the capacity of select project management with this interesting image oriented project. Texas Tech University approached SabreData, Inc. in 1997 to undertake this massive project of outlining and recording field notes and field sightings taken during the early 1900s of plant and animals species native to the state of Texas. A Visual Basic front end was written and coded by Bruce Clendenin with the data stored in an Access 2.0 database. Images were scanned and are displayed once selected selection criteria has been met. Over 10,000 images are recorded and available for selection in this massive project. Ken Mitchell acted as the primary project coordinator on behalf of SabreData, Inc. and Lisa Bradley was the primary Texas Tech Project coordinator.
